@comcast 1.2 TB is not much for a month. I routinely go over that, but I’m with spectrum so they don’t have caps, yet. If the cable companies had to really compete for customers, this data cap **** would stop.

@comcastcares do i have to call to cancel service or can it be done online. I am not happy about this 1.2TB being laid out in Pennsylvania and dont want to be hit with overages due to my connection being used to for work and school purposes.

@SwedeTrap @Xfinity @CenturyLink Thanks for the advice. I just got another notice today from Comcast that I’ve used 75% of my monthly data allowance. Been like that around this time for the last few months. Heard mixed reviews on Century Link due to slow internet speeds but maybe I should give them a try.

@dtmortellaro @Yowan @comcast If they’ve offered unlimited internet this long they can halt this change for a while. It’s simply bad PR. They use an estimate of data usage based on things pre-COVID. It’s no longer a realistic use case.

@Gekko_Pap @stopthecap @morganwick That is you and not supported by any other data or personal experience. The cap is 1.2TB, not 5TB. Many people will be affected and that's Comcast meters where customer cannot dispute. There is no transparency to Comcast's meters.
